special, and alternative
education settings
Program Services Include: Alternative School for Pre-K to Grade 12, Mental Health Services, Functional Assessments, Individualized Education and Treatment Plans, School Transition Planning & Support, and Collaborative Case Planning

2019-2020 School Year

The new school year will begin Thursday, August 20th. Supply lists for parents and students can be found under the Parents/Guardians tab. The Apex Regional Program offers a variety of services to children and their families, including Level III programs, for students from Pre K to Grade 5 and adolescents Grade 6-12, an academic curriculum aligned with the Iowa Core, and individualized mental and behavioral health intervention services.

The Apex Regional Program allows students and families in southwest Iowa to receive academic and behavioral mental health treatment and support services in their community – reducing the need for long and costly travel.

The vision of the Apex Regional Program is that each student will have access to high quality, evidence-based academic, social, behavioral, and mental health services in or close to his or her community.

Mission

The mission of the Apex Regional Program is to promote children's academic, social, emotional, and behavioral success in a safe and nurturing environment.
